As part of the international project COLOSH – International Collaborative Learning in Occupational Safety and Health, the COLOSH Summer School is taking place in June and July 2026. The summer school brings together students from the project’s partner universities, who are participating in an interactive programme focused on Occupational Safety and Health.
The programme is delivered in a blended format. The introductory online sessions took place on 23 and 24 June 2026 via MS Teams. They will now be followed by the face-to-face part, which will take place from 29 June to 3 July 2026 at the Faculty of Safety Engineering, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
During the summer school, participants will take part in practice-oriented workshops covering topics such as project management, research methods, incident investigation, ergonomic analysis and communication in the OSH field. The programme will also include laboratory excursions at the faculty, visits to professional workplaces, networking activities and a joint social programme.
The COLOSH Summer School is designed as a role-based and project-oriented learning experience. Throughout the programme, students will rotate through different professional roles, collaborate in international teams and develop both professional and interdisciplinary skills.
