The workshop focuses on the development of intercultural competences in academic and research environments. Participants will become familiar with key principles of intercultural communication, differences in working styles and expectations across cultures, and practical tools for preventing misunderstandings and strengthening effective collaboration in international teams. Emphasis will be placed on practical examples, experience sharing, and interactive discussion.
The workshop will be led by Mgr. Martina Schneiderová, Ph.D., an academic staff member at the Department of Social Sciences, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.
Martina Schneiderová specializes in intercultural communication, crisis and stress management, and soft skills development. She is involved in research and development projects and has extensive experience working with international and multidisciplinary teams across academic, public, and professional environments.
