A practical course providing a foundation in occupational health and safety and risk management. It is suitable for employees from a wide range of sectors who need to understand the basic principles of occupational health and safety as part of their work.

The course helps participants understand why and how occupational health and safety should be managed, identify common workplace hazards, assess the associated risks, and propose appropriate control measures. The course also covers the basic principles of incident prevention and investigation.

This course is an introductory NEBOSH Award qualification and can provide a suitable starting point for further NEBOSH study.
